One of the alternatives that was not known in Croatia until a few years ago, and today is a rapidly growing force in the water supply system, is definitely desalination.
It is a fact that in Croatia there are increasingly frequent summer periods with droughts and restrictions regarding watering of horticulture, which has a significant impact on the production of fruits and vegetables, as well as on the maintenance of horticulture in parks, tourist settlements, hotels and other branches of industry.
Desalination is a sustainable process and a great alternative for water supply.
