A project has been launched to install equipment for the preparation of well water with a capacity of 10 l\/s, which will supply consumers at the cattle fattening farm in the vicinity of Karlovac.<\/p>\n
The purpose of filtration is to remove iron (Fe), manganese (Mn) and ammonia (NH4) from well water. The system consists of aeration, three biological sand filters, a tank with a capacity of 25 m3, which will be used to condition the water for washing the sand filters and supply the farm with water. There are also pumps that will continuously supply the animals with clean, high-quality water. Disinfection is the last in a series of technologies that will achieve the health suitability of drinking water.
